Bio

Is it possible for a business to do more than maximize shareholder wealth? Can we, at the same time, optimize social impact and improve lives? Jane has been pondering these questions since her freshman year, and her journey has led her to the answer 'Yes.'

At Disrupt, Jane serves as a business development and a project manager. Even if her work highly involves business strategy, she received a lot of energy from being on the field. Jane is passionate about enhancing people's quality of life and education because she believes it opens doors to possibilities previously perceived as impossible. As a Thai student who struggled with English but was eventually ranked top at an international business school, Jane believes that everybody can overcome any challenge to be their best self, even when the odds are against them.

During college, Jane interned at Vonder, an EdTech in Stormbreaker and 500 portfolios. This place had a profound impact on her life, sparking her hope to scale impact through technologies and innovations. This experience also reaffirmed her belief that a business can thrive along with the social mission. When she was studying at Berkeley Haas School of business, she focused on FinTech, Social Entrepreneurship, and Financial Tools for Social Impact, with the hope to  apply what she learned in Silicon Valley to the Southeast Asian context. As a result, she became fascinated with impact investing, believing that the fund flowing to social entrepreneurs would have a greater impact on society.

Before joining Disrupt, Jane formed a team to compete in the Education Disruption Hackathon held by Disrupt Technology Venture because she saw a huge gap in Thailand's financial literacy. Her team, Sukjai, won the ‘Most Improved’ award and continues to develop the product outside of working hours, believing financial health is still a major concern for Thais. In addition, Jane had experience working with a large multinational firm as a finance manager, thereby acquiring an operational excellence mindset and skillset.

Besides working, she enjoys investing in stocks, mutual funds, and cryptocurrencies (yikes!). As an out-going introvert, Jane loves outdoor activities such as rock climbing, ice-skating, and skiing. You can find her at any boba shop in the Ekamai neighborhood.
